At Market Intelligence Services we have over ten years experience monitoring retail prices.
Our initial work was in the fresh vegetable and salad lines. This has now expanded and we
produce numerous reports every Monday afternoon that offer a snap shot of the retail prices
at the major supermarkets, convenience stores and discounters around the country.
Monitoring retail prices is an important part of any business strategy for those companies
who are involved in the FMCG business with the multiple retailers. But it does not stop with
knowing what is happening to retail prices in your customer’s stores, it is important to know
what is happening at your customer’s competitors and also in related sectors of the retail

We have an experienced team of collectors who visit the stores and collect the prices independently.
These are then checked and then entered into our database and distributed within a few hours.
We have also been monitoring the retail prices for frozen vegetables and mixes for many years and this
report is collated every Tuesday.
