Product Focus

Packham per kg Graph- Wk29 2010

Packham per Kg Graph

This is very much a split market. Tesco and Sainsbury's have been battling it out at between themselves at the top of the price range around £1.87 to £1.99 per kg for whole of the quarter. Whilst further up the M1 there has been a Yorkshire battle between Asda and Morrisons between £1.10 and £1.25 per kg.

Somerfield can't quite decide which camp to be in so they have gone from £1.30 to £2.20 later in the quarter. Patchy supply is an issue with them as well.

Of the big four only Tesco had a couple of weeks where our collectors could not find prices.
